Suites and deep cleans are pulled out of the departure and stayover pools and costed at their own minutes, so an eight-suite day never looks like a flat room count.
Shift length minus breaks gives the minutes an attendant can actually clean. Workload divided by that figure is the raw requirement.
The absence buffer lifts the attendant count, then inspectors and housemen are added from your own rooms-per-role ratios.
The busiest role sets expected finish time. Overtime past the scheduled end is priced at 1.5x and rolled into cost per occupied room.

A room attendant calculator converts a day's room mix into the number of housekeepers required. It multiplies departures, stayovers, suites and deep cleans by the minutes each takes, subtracts breaks from the shift, and divides the workload across attendants.
