Hotel housekeeping calculators
Four calculators that answer the four housekeeping labor questions
How many attendants do I need today, how many rooms should one housekeeper clean, what did the department cost per occupied room, and how did the shift actually perform. Each tool runs in your browser, uses your own minutes and wages, and hands its output to the next one.

Open the toolHow the four numbers fit together
- Step 1
Set the standard
Time your departure, stayover, suite and deep-clean tasks with the checklist, then lock those minutes as your brand standard.
- Step 2
Set the quota
Rooms per housekeeper converts those minutes and your shift length into a defensible daily room count.
- Step 3
Staff the day
The staffing calculator applies the real room mix, absence buffer and role ratios to produce today's board.
- Step 4
Price and review
Labor cost turns the board into cost per occupied room; productivity compares what actually happened to the standard.
What these calculators do and do not cover
Every tool here is a labor model built from the minutes and wages you enter. They cover room attendant, inspector and houseman labor, overtime at 1.5× and, on the cost tool, your benefit and payroll-tax load. They do not cover laundry contracts, guest supplies, linen replacement, agency mark-ups, or local overtime and minimum-hours law. Nothing is uploaded: the maths runs in your browser and saved standards stay in that browser’s local storage.
Start from real task times with the printable housekeeping checklist, set the quota with the rooms per housekeeper calculator, build the day in the staffing planner, then price and review it with the labor cost and productivity calculators.
