Cookie notice
The complete list of what HotelWorkload stores in your browser. It is short on purpose: analytics here is cookie-free, and everything else keeps you signed in or remembers your own inputs.
Version 1.0 · Last revised 22 August 2026
1. What this notice covers
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixel-free measurement requests — used on www.hotelworkload.com, operated by Aaron Whitfield, sole proprietor, trading as HotelWorkload. It supplements our Privacy Notice, which explains the personal data behind them.
2. Everything we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in and authorises requests to your own saved data. Only set once you sign in. | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| Planner inputs | Strictly necessary (functional) | A local copy of the last figures you typed into a calculator, so the tool remembers them on your own device. Never sent to us unless you save a board. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| hw_analytics_consent | Strictly necessary | Records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again and do not measure you against your wishes. | Until you clear your browser storage or change the setting |
| _cky_ignore | Opt-out | Set only if you switch analytics off. Tells the analytics script to ignore this browser. | Set by your opt-out; persists until cleared |
That is the complete list. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no social plugins and no ad-network pixels on this site.
3. Analytics without cookies
We measure visits to our public pages with Clicky, operated by Roxr Software Ltd (United States). On this site Clicky runs in cookie-free mode:
- the measurement request sets no analytics cookie and writes nothing to your browser storage;
- our server strips any
Set-Cookieheader the analytics endpoint returns; - the script and its requests are served from our own domain rather than Clicky’s, so ad blockers do not silently hide the collection from you — the request is then forwarded to Clicky together with your IP address;
- what Clicky receives is the page viewed, referring page, approximate location, device, browser, language and IP address. It is not linked to your account and never used for advertising.
4. Consent, signals and how to say no
- UK, EU, EEA and Switzerland — and anywhere we cannot determine your region — no analytics script loads and no measurement request is sent until you accept in the banner. You can change your mind here at any time.
- Elsewhere — analytics runs on our legitimate interest, and the switch below turns it off immediately.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control — if your browser sends either signal, the analytics script does not load at all, regardless of region.
- Browser controls — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items will sign you out and stop the calculators remembering your inputs, but the tools will still work.
Analytics opt-out
Analytics is currently on for this device. Switch it off and nothing further is measured or sent to Clicky.
5. Changes and contact
If we add or remove a cookie we will update this notice and the revision date above. Questions: [email protected].
